I got one. I like it. It is pretty darn cool. The 8gig seems to do all that I need it to... if the word "need" can actually be used along with an IPOD.

One of my favorite authors starts his first book with these wise words: "If you are interested in stories with happy endings, you would be better off reading some other book. In this book, not only is there no happy ending, there is no happy beginning and ver few happy things in the middle." This could easily be said about my blog.

I use "need" and "IPod" in the same sentence all the time. It's almost redundant.
Yeah, I know. Would it be fair to say that there are "needs" and "NEEDS".
Somehow the old saying about needing only "Love and fresh water" sounds different when you say "Love, my IPOD and fresh water".
That said, my IPOD broke at 5:30pm and I had the replacement at 8:22pm. It was charged, loaded up with music, audio books and a movie by 9pm.
See you!

Pete, You live and breath!!
I can't believe you broke down and got an iPod touch!
I have to say, my friends (husband * wife) just picked up 2 iPhones and they are pretty cool.

Yup. I'm alive. You'd never know it from my activity on the CCVA forum though.
Good to hear from you Jay. I've been tempted by the IPhone. It isn't enough to make me want to change phone service though.
Scott gave me the lowdown on some of the stuff going on in Richmond when we rode together last week. It was good to see him.
I definitely need to check out the new trails at Poca. Hopefully work will let up soon and I can travel.
Take care,
Pete
